The Florida Association of Fire and Life Safety Educators has been in existence for over 10 years as one of the sections under the guidance of the Florida Fire Marshal’s. Prior to being one of the sections, a group of educators got together to share information and programs related in our field. This core group of educators were actually the first members of the FAFLSE and some are still in the fire service today!
Once a year we gather for an annual conference usually during the month of June. The conference helps to refresh, revitalize and recharge us for the tasks we have been assigned in our daily lives. The classes at the conference offer us an education on burning issues and provide us with topics to educate the communities from which we come from. It is wonderful place to network and see what is happening around the state. If you get a chance, please come to the conference. We have a great time every year!
